About Total Football
Total Football (Football tactics, transfers, and culture) is An independent football publication covering tactical analysis, transfer markets, fan culture, and the global game. We launched in 2025 for an audience of football fans who want analysis beyond match reports.
Our Mission
We believe specialized publications still matter. Generic feeds and aggregators flatten everything into the same shape. Our mission is to give one community deep, well-sourced, opinionated coverage of the topics they actually care about.
How We Work
Our team combines AI-assisted research and writing with rigorous human editorial review. We use large models for pattern recognition, summarization, and translation, but every published piece passes through fact-checking and editor review.
- Sourcing: We cite primary sources whenever possible, including official documents, open data, and specialist publications.
- Transparency: When content is AI-assisted, we say so. When something is uncertain, we mark it.
- Corrections: Spot an error? Email editor@total-football.org. We correct quickly and label corrections.
Editorial Ethics
We don't accept payment for editorial coverage. Sponsored content (if any) is labeled clearly. We don't publish paid placements without disclosure. Affiliate links are marked.
Editorial Team
Our team includes editors, researchers, and technologists. We don't publish individual bylines for security and privacy reasons, but every article credits the editor and source material used.
